An interactive reflection on the cycles of water and human life.
The experience
From rain to river to ocean.
Drawing from Buddhist concepts, Bardo considers the parallels between Earth’s water cycle and human life cycles. Through an interactive field of projected image, sound and responsive technology, participants’ bodies become rain, river and ocean—gestures toward childhood, adulthood and return.
The work brings emerging media into conversation with embodied practice and ancient wisdom, inviting an intimate encounter with change, continuity and interdependence.
