Studio research & prototypes
Curatorial capacity-building / 2025–2026
A year-long Indigenous and intercultural initiative connecting mentorship, immersive works and exhibition across BC and Canada. It links Hyperobject 108, Salish Sea Dreaming, Forest Awakening and De-Fragmented across a growing set of sites and publics.
Prototype / 2024–2025
An immersive, participatory field of sound and image. Demonstrated at Victoria’s Winter Arts Festival in 2024 and developed as Hyperobject 108 – Fearless Futures at INDIGENOMICS IMPACT in 2025, it continues within the Gossamer Thread curatorial initiative.
Proof of experience / 2026
A performance installation exploring forest health through ecological data, sound, poetry and deep listening. Developed in dialogue with Watershed Press and the Cascadian Zen gathering on Salt Spring Island.

Ruby Singh & John Desnoyers-Stewart
Collaborations spanning interactive installation, mixed reality, spatial voice and movement-responsive environments. BARDO appeared at Lumière in Vancouver in 2024; Sonic Bloom at PoMoArts in 2025.
Nanotopia / Canadian premiere 2026
Live VR theatre combining human EEG, music and living fungal mycelium. Its Canadian premiere linked fungi at Theatre Passe Muraille in Toronto with VIVO Media Arts Centre in Vancouver.
